A fitness program tailored for you.
Fitnext was a B2C Health & Wellness mobile app offering customized fitness plans. As their UX Designer, I was given responsability over the complete re-design of the app and its conversion funnel.
The conceptMade just for you
Fitnext is more than just a mindless weight-loss tool, it's a partner tailored for you and your lifestyle. As a consequence, we wanted to expand the experience to the very first moment our users get to know us. First impressions are important, right? And the best way for our product (in our opinion) was a chatbot diagnosis quiz.
Tell me more - was is love at first sight?
After a lot of user research (data and interviews), we segmented our personas to come up with archetypes we called Fitprofiles. At first, we had planned to only use it for the payment funnel but they became more and more prominent to the point the marketing team used them for their digital campaigns and the product team started tailoring the app for each profile. The Fitprofiles evolved a lot for half a year until we settled on 10 of them.

10 archetypes - which one are you?
Are you a detox addict? A young mother who wants to get back in shape? Or a diet connaisseur who struggle with the yoyo effect? We got your back with our tailored program! Once we had our fitprofiles framework, the product manager, Head Marketing and I thought up key elements which would be the most likely to convert users accordingly to their archetypes. We then delivered those bullet points to the Web Writer so she could make her magic.

How does it work?Let's get down to business
I proceeded to work on the chatbot framework and diagnosis conditions and delivered it to the developers.

Chatbot scenario and wireflow
The paramount skeleton of this project: which choices lead to which answers? Which question is important for the diagnosis? This massive part is the one which went through the most iterations.

Fitprofiles conditions and results
How your fitprofiles is selected - In the first iteration, we had also chosen to diagnose a metabolic age and a toxic level for which I had crafted simplified algorithms.
user testingTesting out our idea
I made a wireframe prototype and tested it on 10-15 users (IRL and remote with Lookback.io). Users pointed out the tone was too harsh - which we corrected. A lot of questions (and objections) came up regarding the names of the archetypes and we decided to take it off to enhance the personalization. Despite that, the diagnosis concept was successful and we pursued to the high-fidelity prototype.
